What the Health & Wellness Alliance is
The Health & Wellness Alliance is one of four TINAI industry alliances. It centres on the integration of biotech and pharmaceuticals with smart medical care, and it brings together makers of drugs, health supplements and medical devices alongside health-service providers. As of 4 November 2026 the company directory lists 17 member companies. Their businesses differ widely. They include biopharma and medical-device firms, health-service providers and companies that are expanding internationally.
This page sets out the alliance's strategy and lists its members by supply-chain tier, with their main products. The information is drawn from the Association's alliance website and the company profile pages on it. A reader can see where the alliance's capability is concentrated, and then decide which type of company to study further.
Vision and three strategies
The alliance aims to build an export-oriented health industry that competes internationally, from R&D through contract development and manufacturing to clinical use and market channels. The alliance describes itself as cross-disciplinary, combining biotech and pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and health services under one structure. It has three strategies, each tied to one stage of the value chain.
The first is a CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organisation) model, which joins R&D and manufacturing capacity so that research results can connect to development and production. The second is to link with clinical settings, which speeds up validation of applications. The third is to combine sales channels and widen market reach. The aim is to make it easier for products to enter target markets. Together the strategies cover the path from development and manufacturing to clinical use and sales.
Medical technology and smart care
The medical technology tier covers device development, testing equipment, imaging and precision instruments, and has six companies. PM Gloves (禾寶醫療器材, a British Virgin Islands company) heads a group that makes nitrile, PVC and thermoplastic-elastomer gloves and cleanroom gloves. Creative Life Science (啟新生物科技) supplies life-science consumables and technical services in biopharma, food safety and infectious disease testing.
LAGIS (常廣) makes minimally invasive surgical instruments and consumables and exports them under its own brand to more than 50 countries. Onyx Healthcare (醫揚科技) develops a medical AI platform and medical-grade computers, including medical tablets, displays and smart operating-room systems. BiOptic (光鼎生物科技) develops capillary electrophoresis technology for genetic testing platforms and automated nucleic acid extraction. 沃醫學 works in aesthetic medicine and medical devices, covering body contouring and plastic surgery.
The smart care tier covers remote care, wearables, long-term care systems and data tracking. It currently lists one member, 蕭中正醫院, a hospital providing specialist and community medical services. No member in this tier is described as a maker of remote-care or wearable devices. One further member, the group's Vietnam production base 越南金寶山國際責任有限公司, makes medical gloves. It belongs to this alliance in the directory but has no supply-chain tier assigned.
Biotech and pharmaceuticals
The biopharma tier covers drug development, cell therapy, nutrition and clinical trials. TCM Biotech International (泰宗生物科技) is a biotech drug developer working in diagnostic platforms, medicines and medical devices. Syngen Biotech (生展生物科技) develops and makes fermentation-based active ingredients and nutritional supplements, with lines in preventive medicine and animal health.
Daiken Biomedical (大研生醫國際) runs a nutritional supplement brand, with products such as fish oil, lutein and probiotics. It is listed in both the biopharma and healthy living tiers, so it appears twice in tier lists but is a single company. The alliance's CDMO strategy is most relevant to the ingredient and supplement development and manufacturing in this tier. Whether a particular company offers contract development or manufacturing is a question to put to that company; the public descriptions do not say. Overseas buyers who need contract development should state this in their request, together with the product type and the target market.
Healthy living
The healthy living tier covers supplements, devices, health management and functional drinks. Sunway Biotech (晨暉生物科技) develops health ingredients and pet supplements. Mikobeaute International (霈方國際) operates a skincare brand with counters and stores in department stores. 佐登妮絲國際 runs beauty spa and aesthetic services and also does cosmetics contract manufacturing and franchising. Sun Own Industrial (歐都納) is an outdoor brand making technical apparel, hiking footwear, packs, tents and water-sports gear.
品元實業 imports food ingredients and develops premixes, including bakery and beverage powders. Eiso Enterprise (邑昇實業) makes printed circuit boards for power, industrial control, networking, automotive and medical applications. The tier therefore spans consumer brands, food ingredients and electronics manufacturing. Readers should judge each company by its actual business and its relevance to their own needs. The tier spans a wide range, and not every member is a medical company in the narrow sense.
Working with the alliance
If you are looking for Taiwanese partners in device manufacturing, testing equipment, active ingredients, nutritional supplements or health services, start with the company directory filtered to Health & Wellness. Then use the collaboration request page to give your industry, region and timeline, and the platform will refer you to the alliance contact. Of the 17 companies, 12 show a stock code: 2 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange and 10 on the Taipei Exchange. Members range from listed manufacturers to a hospital and consumer brands, so a request that names a product category, such as surgical consumables, gloves or nutritional ingredients, is easier to route than a general one.
If you need details of the alliance's technical solutions or joint projects, say so in your request and the platform will pass the question on to the alliance contact. Commercial terms, pricing and due diligence are for the companies to carry out themselves. The platform does not take part in those decisions, and each company remains responsible for its own checks.
