Making disposable gloves

PM Gloves is the brand of the PM Group, a medical group founded in 1978 by eight specialists in chemical materials and machinery. The group aims to be the first-choice manufacturer of disposable gloves worldwide. The group was founded as Taiwan's petrochemical and processing industries were growing. Japanese glove makers, looking abroad for production partners because of cost, chose Taiwan.

Materials and ranges

Its products cover nitrile rubber (NBR), synthetic plastic (PVC) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) gloves, together with the cleanroom PACER range and the Bio-Mass range. The company says the gloves are used in medical, laboratory, food, electronics and industrial settings, and offers customisation. The company says its products have protected the health of billions of people across medical, laboratory, food, electronics and industrial uses.

Six plants in three locations

Manufacturing has grown from Taiwan to China and Vietnam, linking six plants in three locations in one supply chain. The company sits in the medical-technology tier of the TINAI health alliance, and overseas buyers needing gloves, cleanroom supplies or custom specifications can be introduced through TINAI.
